Do I have to ask a friend to be my bridesmaid when I was in her wedding years ago? Nope! Relationships change and any good friend should understand your situation. They might be a bit hurt if they are a close friend, but if you explain to them why they should get it. All weddings are different. Some brides have many family members that are part of the bridal party and others have nothing but friends. Depending on the situation there should be a good explanation for your friend to understand your decision.

We have gone over the dramatic touch of tall centerpieces, but if a shorter centerpiece is done right it can also make a dramatic impression. The key to the shorter centerpieces is to keep it clean and concise. This can be a DIY project as shorter florals are a bit easier to find and work with than long-stemmed florals.
Want Spring colors during a Fall wedding? Bright colors are usually better in warmer months, but you don't have to follow this rule. Stick to your personal preferences because at the end of the day you will be happy with that decision. A good trick is having a balance between a dark color you adore with a hint of a light color to bring both seasons in. Try pairing a spicy orange with a soft apricot, this way you will bring in Fall and Spring. Problem solved!
Who doesn't like a variety of desserts? Many people have been on the same page with this and showcasing a variety of desserts at their wedding for guests to enjoy. When choosing your variety of desserts make sure to pick a little something from every dessert category. Make sure to include the usual suspects like chocolate and vanilla, but be sure to spice things up a bit too!
The bartender is a big part of most weddings. Although he is receiving tips from the guests, the bride and groom also need to tip him overall. This should be about 10% of the total liquor bill to be split among the bar staff. This is only if gratuity is not included in the contract. This tip should be offered at the end of the reception by the host.

Man caves are a perfect way for the guys to get away now and then for a little "guy time." This cave can contain cigars, black jack tables, video games, etc. Basically everything that guys might fight over! It will be a good break for the two sexes to separate to have a little fun and appreciate each other a bit more. It's easy to get caught up in the day to day grunts and groans of running a household. A little time away from each other will make you miss each other and therefore appreciate each other even more. Us girls tend to take a break for some "girls only" time but guys might not think to do this on their own. A man cave is just the answer! They can have fun and have guy time and still be home in time for the dinner bell. Is there room for a little man cave at your place?
Does your hubby want your wedding colors to be the same as his favorite football team's, but you can't fathom the thought of red and gold 49ers running around? I am sure you can come to a nice little compromise that will make you both happy. Instead of the gold and red, try white and gold with little hints of red florals. This way he can feel like he has his manly team with him and you can have your beautiful feminine wedding decorations!
Exotic Indian colors are bright and vibrant! From Katy Perry's Indian wedding and Eat, Pray, Love to Nicole Richie's exotic elephant as a wedding greeter, India is definitely the "it" country for wedding inspiration. To get the look, choose a vibrant color palette like purples, reds and golds, lavish decor elements such as beading and rich drapery, and exotic, spicy dishes.
The last in our series of beauty advice from Bride Magazine for your twelfth month is to get a facial. You want to book this a month prior to your wedding in case of peeling or redness. Extractions can also irritate your skin so make sure this facial is not too close to any big day. If booked far enough in advance, yet close enough to your big day, your skin should look amazing. Every bride should glow on her wedding day and a facial is a great way to get that look.
