Some of you have already met the newest addition to the Dynamite Weddings team but for those of you who have not had the pleasure... Meet Jasmine! Jasmine graduated from Sacramento State with a BS in Dietetics and a Minor in Business...and recently landed here at Dynamite Weddings! Random, we realize but she is doing a bang up job, we love having her and she loves Dynamite Weddings. Jasmine is writing content, managing the site and handling sales for Dynamite Weddings. Some of you met Jasmine at the last mixer, those who didn't, here are some images and some tidbits on our Jasmine....
"I love fitness, nutrition, and wellness. I believe your inner happiness can sculpt anything and everything around you. Beauty and happiness truly comes from within!"
Here's Jasmine with one of her favorite things....Rocco! Rocco or Rocco Taco as we all call him is a Boston Terrier with one baby blue eye and one brown eye. He is loaded with character and lots of gumption. He is fearless and will approach anything and anyone for exploration purposes.
We asked Jasmine to give us more insight on her and she let us know about the many things she loves and can't live without....
My Family! My family is your typical indian family, they fight hard and love hard. We are the Indian version of "My Big Fat Greek Wedding." It's a fight to get your voice heard and you have to be sharp because we all just crack jokes about each other. My mother is the most driven woman I know and my father has the kindest heart. I am so grateful for their presence in my life. I'm also very grateful for my older brother who might feel younger at times, but is one of the most influential people in my life.
My friends! Friends are the greatest treasures I have come across over time. I feel like I have hit gold with the people in my life! I love the camaraderie and the fact that we want nothing, but the best for each other. I have finally come to the realization that I get to choose who is in my life and I want nothing but the best! Therefore, all of my friends are best friends, there is no need to single one person out.
Travel. I am blessed to have parents who also love to travel and we get to share seeing the world and learning about other cultures. My favorite trip to date has been my return to India. I went to India the first time when I was three years old. I do remember going to the zoo with a banana in one hand and my favorite purse in another, but that is about all I remember. I returned two years ago. It was such a humbling experience seeing where my parents came from and what they had to do to get where they are now. I am so proud of the drive and perseverance it took them to get here.
Long distance running and Kickboxing workouts! Not the cardio kickboxing workouts, but the real-deal, hitting a bag workout. I say long distance because I have the longest legs, but man I can't sprint at all!
LAUGHING! Laughing might not be the cure for everything, but it sure makes things a lot more fun!
Sunny days. I feel like the sun is a big slap of happiness in my face! Best slap ever! The rain is fun when I'm asleep and don't have to deal with Rocco's wet paws.
Bright colors. They make me extremely happy and energetic!
Summer dresses. Jeans are very stuffy and when they don't fit just right, then a flowy dress will hide all the extra goodies you've been eating!
Wine nights and sparkly white lights. Both make you feel so cozy!
Meeting new people. There are so many great things to learn about from everyone you meet. And, there is good and bad in every single person. Embrace the good.
Love love love, all you need is love.
