Real Wedding: Barbara & Cliff
It is officially wedding season and we wanted to share this beautiful love story between Barbara and Cliff, submitted by E.C. Campbell Photography . Who also provided the wonderful photography to show the gorgeous details of their wedding. Congratulations to Barbara and Cliff! They are such cutie patooties!!!
An Intimate Affair:
When these two met love was in the air for sure! They first layed eyes on each other when Barb's sister was marrying Cliff's cousin. Barb noticed Cliff at the rehearsal dinner because he walked by and gave her a wet-willy to get her attention! HA HA! Barb thought this was a cute gesture rather than a lame pick-up line. Why did he do this? Cliff says her legs caught his eye in her summer dress that she was wearing at the rehearsal.
The Big Day:
Soon these lovebirds were dating and Cliff decided to pop the question at dinner in front of both sets of parents! How brave of him! The wedding soon approached and it was a glorious day, 75 degrees and sunny in Michigan. This was a great day for a Fall wedding.
These two did not have a particular theme for their wedding, but used many fall colors with their main combination of colors in the yellow and orange palette. They incorporated this with orange roses and calla lillies decorated around their favorite detail, the arbor Barb's father made. He worked on it day and night and his commitment showed in this gorgeous arbor on their big day. The couple created centerpieces with a picture of a different monument or event in their life together to share their past relationship with guests!
Advice:
The three words that would explain this couples wedding to them would be magical, charming, and breath-taking. Their dream really came true! These two had a 16-month engagement and their advice to other couples would be to cut the time a bit shorter, it is easier to make choices and not think about what is going to be the next trend or if certain products purchased would go on sale later.
The ceremony and lovely reception took place at The Lafayette Grande, where they provided amazing catering, bar services, and invitations. Webers Floral Gifts added gorgeous floral arrangements to their big day! Barbara's beauty squad was lead by Pure Salon for hair and make up by Magnet Street Weddings.
