No one likes a Debby Downer around. There is no way you can make your significant other happy if you are not happy yourself. Obviously you will have some down days, but here are a few ways to keep those days to a minimum. Set some you time aside, this can be anything from working out to reading. Just as long as you put the stress of the day aside and calm yourself. Have a girls night! Spending time with your girls can be some of the best remedies ever. Last, do something good for yourself because you deserve it. Applying these three tasks to your life will definitely increase your ability to experience true happiness with yourself and bring that happiness into your relationship.

You go to work, then to the gym, eat dinner, and you are exhasted. Do you feel like there is no time or strength for sex? Busy, busy, busy bees you both are! Well, no matter how much you have on your plate, you will have to make time for your intimate relationship. Sex is as important as work and a great balance of both will make your love life better. You and your spouse can start by setting a time out for play...and only play! The main goal here is to set this time out for not only a physical part of your relationship, but get your mind off of work too. Make sure you and your spouse don't have your mind on other things. Just love each other and be happy in the moment!

So you have been married for a while and things have been a bit dry lately...It may be time to spice things up with your sex life! One huge mistake couples make after the wedding is becoming too comfortable and letting the flame fade. Sex is a big part of marriage and this is one flame that should not be blown out! Communication is key. Marriage should not mean that there are no more surprises or an abundance of flannels. Talk to your hubby and both of you should really figure our each others wants. By finding out the wants and needs of your partner, it will make it easier to give them just that. It might be hard to break the ice at first, but it is well worth it!

If you get home before your hubby, freshen up a bit and keep it sexy! After a long day many of us want to slip straight into our sweats and get cozy. It might be a good idea to have some relaxing alone time before he gets home so you can focus all your energy on you two when he does arrive. Relaxing on your own before hand will help you to unwind so that when he does come home you won't take all your stress from the day out on him. This will help you two enjoy each other more than deal with each other's stresses less.

Gain a little bit of weight after your wedding? I like to call this your "lovey dovey weight". You go out to eat and have a couple of drinks because you want to celebrate this solitude of love. It is great not to play house anymore and actually make this your reality, but it's not that great when all the cooking leaves you with a little extra "lovely" pounds. If this is the case, try working out with your spouse. This extra weight gained by spending time together can be lost by doing the same. Try joining a gym together or even walking at a certain time of the day. This will help you unwind and have a great conversation at the same time! This will help to build trust in one another and also up the points in the bedroom with an increase in endorphins from your workouts together.

With couples planning 'staycations' and cutting back on outtings that can dent the wallet, consider making your own event at home. Why not bring the excitement to your house?! You and your hubby can get funky and let loose with your own version of Rock Band. He can be the guitarist and lead singer while you command the drums, or vice versa. This could be a great stress reliever too, after a long week. Sing it loud, bang on those drums and pair up for your favorite duet. Being goofy together can really bring you two closer and allow you to make your own beautiful music!

Sometimes you just can't get away for a romantic weekend. Do you both love the outdoors with crisp air, warm fires, gooey S'mores and starry nights? If leaving town is not an option right now, think about pitching a tent in your own backyard. You can purchase a personal fire pit for a reasonable price and have your own backyard camp out. The only rule is: leave your cell phones inside.

You can order some cute little boy shorts honoring your new hubby with I Love Tim or Mrs. Smith. He'll love that you thought of him and he'll surely love seeing you in them.
